In 1978, in the bustling town of Rajahmundry, a visionary named Mr. Chandana Kedarish set out with a simple yet powerful dream—to make quality jewellery and textiles accessible to every middle-class family. With deep roots in tradition, a sharp sense ofcustomer service, and unwavering ethics,along with his 5 brothers he founded what would become one of South India's most beloved retail names: Chandana Brothers.
What began as a modest store with a few employees and a handful of designs soon evolved into a thriving destination known for trust, fair pricing, and heartfelt relationships. Mr. Kedarish's commitment to honesty and customer satisfaction laid the foundation for a business that grew not through advertising, but through word of mouth and community love.
Through the 1980s and 90s, the brand expanded steadily, adding stores in towns like Guntur, Kurnool, and Nandyal—always guided by Mr. Kedarish's principle: “Don't just sell gold. Earn trust.” By the early 2000s, Chandana Brothers had become synonymous with celebrations— weddings, festivals, and every milestone in between.
In 2017, the next generation explored new formats like “CB” malls to reach modern consumers—an experiment that brought both insights and lessons. In 2021, under the continued leadership of the Chandana family, operations were centralized to bring consistency and scale while still maintaining the warmth of a local brand.
In 2025, a pivotal decision was made: to preserve the legacy while refining the identity. Thus, Chandanaz was born. A tribute to Mr. Kedarish’s original vision, Chandanaz focuses exclusively on authentic, hallmarked jewellery—keeping the soul of Chandana Brothers intact, while stepping into a new era of elegance and clarity.
