The Sales Head  will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and team performance across all jewellery showrooms operating under the Chandnaz brand. The role demands a strong leader with deep understanding of consumer behavior in the jewellery segment, sales management, team development, and store operations. The incumbent will lead a large team of showroom managers, sales executives, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer experience while meeting revenue and margin targets

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Sales, Retail, or Business Management
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in jewellery retail, including 5+ years in a leadership role with proven experience in managing multi-store operations
  • Strong team leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Deep understanding of customer buying behavior and regional jewellery trends
  • Willingness to travel frequently across store locations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, purchase and sales planning tools, and ERP systems
  • Analytical mindset with ability to derive insights from stock data, margin reports, and sell-through analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills
  • Willingness to travel for vendor visits, trade fairs
  • Fluency in English and Hindi languages is preferred, knowledge of Telugu will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with seasonal trends, festive calendars, and consumer buying patterns.
  • Set monthly and annual sales targets for all showrooms and monitor achievement at store and team level.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Supervise day-to-day retail operations of all the 7 jewellery showrooms.
  • Lead showroom managers and ensure consistent customer service, stock handling, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Implement SOPs for sales, billing, product display, and staff grooming.
  • Monitor staff performance and manage incentive programs to drive high performance.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent in-store experience across locations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with HNI/VIP clients and oversee loyalty program implementation.
  • Coordinate with Purchase and Inventory teams to ensure availability of fast-moving and high-margin products.
  • Review stock allocation and replenishment across stores to manage inventory and reduce aged stock.
  • Work with Marketing and MarCom teams to align promotions, campaigns, and local offers.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate regular programs on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports for leadership with actionable insights.
